I'm a freelance writer, editor and pro blogger who loves to write about fashion, beauty, hair care, weddings, knitting, parenting, child care and freelance writing.
Happily married since 1996, I haven't had to plan my own wedding in a long time. However, with so many new trends popping up all the time, it's hard to not want to get married all over again (every year!). Since I'm not trying to outdo Elizabeth Taylor in the wedding department, I have to satisfy my romantic side writing White Lace Wedding.
I'm here to provide advice and information about your Big Day. Even though it seems disaster will strike (your dress doesn't fit, the caterer baked a lemon, not chocolate cake, etc.), it's all about trying to stay stress-free and enjoying the planning until you take that important walk down the aisle.
I'm also the style floater at Busy with Style, where I provide additional fashion coverage as needed.

Hello and welcome to my little profile here!! I guess I should start off introducing myself since I'm new around here. I am a 26 year old smashingly beautiful redhead who has a wicked eye for fashion and a love of amazing clothes. You can say my fashion style is a mix of comfortable, classic, chic, and sophisticated. I’m not apposed to mini skirts and heels, but I will also throw on a polo and cardigan. I like to mix it up and I tend to not follow the trends, but rather what looks good on me. Just because lemon yellow stockings with a purple fuzzy skirt is in, doesn’t mean you should wear it, or feel obligated to wear it. Be yourself and you will look much better!
Let’s start with a few questions, shall we?
What do you do in your free time? Well, you can find me reading a book or watching the latest trashy reality show. I am an information hound and I love discovering new things and researching them, go ahead, call me a nerd. Most importantly during my free time I spend it with my awesome dog Molly, who is a greyhuahua (term coined by me, don’t steal it, or I will get you). A greyhuahua you ask? Yes, a greyhuahua, part Chihuahua and part Italian greyhound (the mini version of a greyhound). She is awesome and I love her.
What movies can you watch over and over again?
Well that’s a no brainer, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original, not the creepy Johnny Depp version), Crash, and Hairspray (again the original not the creepy John Travolta version).
What books can you recommend to the awesome readers of busywithstyle.com? Fantastic question! Let’s start off with the current book I am reading, Saving Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan. Besides that book I would also recommend, Lipstick Jungle, Holy skirts, Trading up, The edge of reason, Bergdorf Blondes, The Wonder Spot and anything by Carl Hiassen.
Ok, that looks about enough for now. Please feel free to email me with any questions you have,ryanisbusywithstyle@gmail.com, and I will get back to you just as soon as I can. Oh and I am SOOOO excited to be here with you guys.

Hi!
Great of you to have stopped by to pay me a visit! I expect you are
curious to know who's been writing all that beauty and lifestyle
articles you enjoyed so much (thank you, thank you).
Here it goes:
My name is Ivana, Ivy for friends.
For the third year in a row, I'm 24. I come from Croatia, where the sea
is blue, women are the prettiest in the world and men are built from
pure muscle and wit:-)
In RL I'm a journalist and a content writer, I also write poems,
which, in fact, got published. Maybe you're wondering why do I feel
competent enough to write about beauty and lifestyle: The
simple truth is that I'm a beauty guru. No, really. I love fashion,
cosmetics, makeup, accessories, shoes, bags - you name it. I've also
spent many quality years reading Cosmo, Mary Clare, Vogue and any other
shiny girl magazine I could get my hands on from cover to cover.
As a matter of fact, everything I write I have tried for myself, urged
my friends to try and to give me a feedback, in order to bring you
quality, sane and logic beauty, makeup, dressing and cosmetics content.
Well, I think I've said enough, feel free to contact me via mail or just drop a comment somewhere if you want to know anything else about me or beauty.
Some of the questions I already got:
Q: Are you a blond?
A: Of course I am. A natural one, with some help from Garnier
Laboratories. Try it to believe it, but blonds do get through life
easier. When in doubt, you can always play the dumb blond card, and in
99 per cent of cases, men rush to help you.
Q: How much do you spend on clothes and makeup?
A: Well, I'd say, one third of my earnings. Although I should
know better, there is always an item I must have, be it a new, fabulous
mascara or a sarong-like blouse. I used to put myself down before when
I splurged on such things, but now I'm a bit older and know I can save
much money if I skip lunch. It's also good for my diet.
Q: Don't you think it's shallow to pay so much attention to beauty?
A: No. The fact is that almost 90 per cent of beautiful and
classy women are smart too. Take me for instance I read three to four
books a week, newspaper every day and am involved in some charity work
also. If you don't want to comb your hair or shave your armpits, you go
girl, but I like to be lovely.
Yours Ivy
