In the next couple of weeks I am going to be traveling alot and there is nothing more frustrating than being on a plane in an uncomfortable outfit. I have a pretty simple fashion equation that I use for when I will be spending a fair amount of time crammed into a small seat, inevitably next to someone who is coughing. One of the key tactics for airport survival is layers. Layers equal always being able to be the right temperature or rather dressed for any temperature you are going to be stuck in.

The Ryan Layering System for Travel:
1. Long sleeve shirt
2. Hooded sweatshirt, that zips up the front
3. Scarf
4. Jeans
5. Boots or sneakers

	A hood is great because you can pull it up over your head and cover your eyes while you sleep. Also, make sure it has a zipper or buttons on the front so you don't elbow your neighbor in the head while you take your sweatshirt off. Hooded wrap cardigan, $39 at Newport News

Add your favorite pair of jeans to this mix and you will be comfy, despite the screaming baby in Row 15. Fly safe!
