Winter trends: chunky sandals and clogs chunky3.jpg chunky2.jpg

I must admit I would never wear any of the above sandals in the summer time, when sandals are intended to be worn, for the simple fear of my feet looking too big and on top of that, I don't posses any summer clothing that would go with it.

But as that flimsy lady fashion is always pairing the unthinkable, chunky sandals and high-heeled clogs have resurrected this winter to serve as the most chic footwear, paired with cashmere, wool or simply opaque hosierylinks or tights.

Wear yours with all the confidence of a true fashionista, preferably with capris and a fur-trimmed coat.

In case you're wondering, the above shoes are: Oscar de la Renta brown 'Tulah' grommet wedges (available at Bluefly for $171), Dollhouse Mylania (available at Shoes for $56.99) and Michael Kors suede clog (available at Neiman Marcus for $175)
