Winter party dresses in purple

To continue with our party outfit planning, I'm giving you my selection of party dresses in purple (plum, aubergine or violet, whichever you prefer). I know this is a really neglected color, which has not really deserved it's bas status.

I men is there a girl which wouldn't look great in purple? The pale ones among us will get that magical air, the redheads will look sexy, the dark haired ladies elegant and the blondes serious. Also, purple is great to pair with silver, and we all know that Christmas and New Year's is the time to shine. Catch my accessory bling-bling report a bit later, stay tuned.

	Vera Wang Lavander dress is made of ruched tulle and falls just beneath the knees. It's strapless, has a brown satin sash with a corsage. Available at Net-a-Porter for $595
	nicole miller brocade dress sports a very flattering cut, which is likely to make you feel as comfortable as stylish. The dress is lightweight and has a circle skirt hem. Available at Bluefly for $207
	Temperley London dress is a bit longer than I usually wear or prefer, but there certainly are girls who look magnificent in long gowns. The dress is made of silk with chiffon overlay and embellished with mirrors. On sale at Saks for $903.90
	Privee Slip dress is something I usually wouldn't endorse, but since it's for a party I know this silky number would look great with a silvery or even tan fur (or faux-fur) jacket, and some killer heels. Sexy and simple. Available at Intermix for $175
