Ugly shoes and sweaty feet

Once again Shoewawa Gemma successfully reminds me how I hate it when designers can't be normal:

"Shoes with perspex inserts on the sides were loitering on sale racks four or five years ago after the Stella originals were made famous by her celebrity friends and fans (Gwyneth, Madonna, Liv et al). Now she's bought the style back, just as we were beginning to forget the sweaty feet that resulted from wearing them for more than half an hour."

If Stella is against animal torture, why does she want to torture women?
