Trend it up!

Ok, I have gotten a few reader emails about making a list of top trends for Spring/Summer '08. I am going to take the easy way out and just make a list for all of you as to what I think will be the biggest trends. I've already predicted some of them, but I have a few more up my sleeve. Try some of these.

SHOES - Definitely rock the gladiator sandal. Peeps toes, espadrilles and strappies will be in for heels.

COLORS- Bright and lively. Think oranges, yellows, greens, citrusy colors. Also, purple is very much in. Violet, lilac, you name the hue,
as long as it is purple, it will be in.

SAFARI- I predicted this one and it is very much in. Khaki's, olives, jackets with lots of pockets, you know what safari clothes look like. Go wild!

ACCESSORIES- Clutches, duffel bags, big sunglasses, skinny belts, natural material bangles (think wood, shell, etc).

NAUTICAL- Spring and Summer are traditionally the time when you enjoy the beach and the ocean. Get inspired by the time on the boat. Think blue and white horizontal striped tops, boat shoes, gold accents and sailor pants.

SHEER- Nothing is more feminine than wearing a chiffon blouse lightly blowing in the breeze. Layer a sheer top over a simple tank and you will look marvelous.
