The Shoe I'm Loving Today

I'll go back to high heels next go round, but I have to talk about these saddleshoes today. I think you have to be a certain age to really appreciate this style (if you're not a certain age and you appreciate them anyway, good for you!). If you're a Peanuts fan, you know these shoes. If you were an elementary school kid anytime between the '50s and the '70s, you know these shoes.

I'm feeling nostalgic today, so when I saw these, I thought about playgrounds and Charlie Brown and plaid skirts and pigtails.

However, for the grown up? Wear these babies with a black-and-white checked skirt or black-and-white capri pants, your crispest black or white top and be kitschy.
