Check out this cool little video featuring Michael Fink, women's fashion director at saks fifth Avenue, as he shows us some insider previews from spring 2009 fashion week, going on right now. I like that he showcases a few designers who aren't the same, big names we tend to look for season after season. That keeps it very fresh and exciting for me.
I heard the word "glamour" several times, which is always nice. The ladylike trend continues, but expect easy dresses and comfortable, simple styles instead of anything too constricting. In the video, look for styles from:
*BCBG: Easy dresses, comfort and elegance
*Milly: Ladylike and simple with lots of exotic color and a bohemian vibe (let me know what you think about the gold-and-purple combination)
*rag & bone: Punk with lots of skinny pants, but the cropped jacket is a must-have!
Expect lots more color talk when talking about spring 2009 trends.

BCBG Max Azria dresses are amazing. Chic, comfortable and non-pretencious.
