Size is not an issue
Filed in archive Size not issue on October 6, 2006
With all the latest noise in the news about too skinny models, I have realized I have something to be ashamed of: I never post about out of the ordinary sizes. This is of course not on purpose - I love people of all shapes and sizes, as they do make my life richer and more interesting.
Anyhows I am starting a new category here, it's going to be called Size is not an issue, and I am going to post plus size as well as petite clothes there every week.
While we're on the subject, let me tell you what I have found out after years and years of looking at clothes and writing about it: Your outfits should always fit in order for you to look as magnificent as possible. This means that you should show off your good assets (great legs, glorious behind or just the loveliest shoulders) without subjecting to that very unappealing way of wearing a tent-like dress if you're a size 16 or children clothes if you are shorter and slimmer than the average model.
Fit is everything. Your suit jackets should always be well cut, enhancing your waist and your trousers should never be tight round your hips and your behind (which does not apply to jeans-those should be as tight as possible :). Your work clothes should indeed be comfortable, but appealing as well. Stay tuned for great clothes in all sizes.
