Silicone in our hair
Being a working 'gal you certainly know the importance of neat and tidy hair which makes you look professional and beautiful. Is there anything nicer than sleek hair without the frizz? Well, there is, a full head of long, long locks, but we're talking about work hair now.

As my favorite online chemists and cosmetic experts at The Beauty Brains state, silicone is probably one of the best ingredients you can put on your hair to manage the frizz and still have the manageability:

"The truth is, silicone (the molecule pictured above) is one of the MOST effective ingredients for conditioning hair or skin. In both cases, it serves as a protective barrier."

I have been fortunate enough to try out the new Herbal Essences line and the Break's Over shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner is just the thing any gal needs for her hair to look well kept. The products in HE Break's Over are stuffed with silicone (or to put it pharmaceutically, with dimethicone and cyclomethicone), which will give you good protection for hair when blow-drying, styling and walking in the wind.

My little trick is to put the leave in conditioner on, spray my hair with hairspray and not touch my hair any more. Fingers cause frizz galore.
