Nine West shoes

With Nine West launching three new collections this September (thanks to Maria Palm for the scoop), I just had to visit their online store to snoop around. And to my great surprise, there are some wonderful shoes in the Vivienne Westwood for Nine West category.

Although I would most definitely buy the Roman pumps, for the sheer luxury of having Westwood shoes to brag around with, my goal was to find something more usable, everyday and appropriate for work. Sadly, only models can wear high high heels to work, the rest of us have to walk some serious distances in and around our offices.

So, instead of bringing your pumps to work in a bag to put them on whenever the situation calls for it, I suggest the wonderful Auntie Vivienne Westwood shoes. If they look a bit on the old side to you, they are supposed to. I would have never looked for these shoes on my own, but once I saw them I just felt a sudden urge to put my feet into them, and that's always a good sign when buying shoes. Just imagine: these will go great with your A skirt and a plain top. And your feet will be rested, no doubt about it. Also, on top of Vivienne Westwood collection, Nine West offers Thakoon and Sophia Kokosalaki designed shoes too! My favorite wear to work shoe for those collections would have to be Thakoon Coquetdemi - a lace over patent shaped demi-wedge. Even though these couldn't be worn this year, since the collection will be available from October 1, I don't think those shoes would go out of fashion soon. The price is $225.
