Manolo Blahnik Chats with China Chow

I found this charming little video of Manolo Blahnik (*swoon*) speaking to China Chow about, what else, shoes. But milkshakes, too. When he says "it's bad luck" to hold shoes, I laughed out loud.

And when they show a shot of the shoes he's wearing, don't miss it!


He comes across as debonair, elegant and really sweet. Plus, the way he chats with Chow over milkshakes is just adorable. Personally, I was surprised to hear that he had a favorite shoe and was able to identify it so readily, considering the thousands of pairs of shoes he's designed.

It's brief, entertaining and if you love his shoes, I think you'll enjoy it. Oh, and somewhere lives a woman with Manolo Blahnik's signature tattooed on her leg-you'll have to watch the video to find out how that happened.
