Knit Hats for the Winter
Filed in archive Accessories on October 29, 2008

If you live in a particularly chilly climate, hats are a necessity during the winter. I love hats; I wish more people would wear hats outside of the baseball cap/knit ski hat choices.
This is a cute little Patricia Underwood Gamin knit beret in a cheerfully bright color scheme perfect for warding off cold-weather doldrums (it also comes in a black/white combo). You can wear it facing straight forward or add some panache by wearing the brim slightly off to the side. Because it's a floppy beret, you also control where you want the "floppiness" to fall.
There are so many options outside of the basic knitted cap, so why not take advantage of them? Accessories like this do a lot toward defining your individual style.
