Right now in NYC it is bitterly cold. I'm talking the kind of cold where your nose starts running, your eyes starting running and all you want to do is run to the nearest warm spot. I look like an Eskimo when I go out and I am perfectly ok with it. One of the most dangerous things that can happen in weather like this is frostbite and who wants that? It is not fun. 	Here is a little trick I learned from skiing, instead of really heavy socks, wear nylons. They won't make your feet sweat and they actually keep your piggies warmer than you might think. Diamond Socks, $10 at Brooks Brothers
	Between 7% and 55% of a person's body heat can be lost through the head. The harder your heart has to work to keep your body warm, the more heat you loose. Make sure your cover it up and look fabulous at the same time. Seriously, you will think you look like an idiot, but your head and ears will be warm, which is much more important!!
