Great match: Dress in one color

Maybe you knew it, and maybe you didn't, but monotone dressing is rather stylish at the moment. This means you can wear one color, one shade, from head to toe, and look like a true fashionista.
Obviously, monotone is not as fun in black or white, so I suggest real color, be it red, green or royal blue. One of the hottest colors for the summer and fall to come is purple, so I've done that combo for you:
The dress is Tempted Jersey Surplice (only $44 at Macy's), which looks great with Charles David strappy sandals (Bluefly for $49). The dVb Style sunglasses ($250 at Shopbop) make your purple intent serious, and there's also a purple pashmina shawl, if it gets chilly.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE purple. And dressing in one color does work, especially when it's a great color like purple that isn't too intense but is definitely not drab either. I want that dress. And I thought that pashmina looked familiar. It is. I realized that I have it advertised on my site (great minds think alike I guess).
