Going somewhere? Take the big bag.

Filed in archive Accessories , Bags , Trends on January 22, 2007

Big bags are everywhere, and you will be totally passé if you consider wearing anything smaller than a laptop case with you. Handbags have gotten larger than ever this season, and everything points that this whole year will be marked with really oversized totes.

Here are my best of online fine totes, just be aware that you can develop really hurting arm muscles if you stuff those bags full! The trick is to leave them half empty as the bags themselves are already heavy. Also, never ever wear them over your shoulder, these beauties should cling from your left underarm.

Going somewhere? Take the big bag. Classy big bag - This Robe di Firenze large tote is made of vegetable tanned leather and will transform you into one classy chick. Fits a laptop, some cosmetics, a change of pantyhose and a lot more. Available at Forzieri for $498
big_bag_fiore.jpg embossed big bag - Embossments are in this winter, so why not try it on a handbag? Isabella Fiore ginger tote would look great with your new riding boots. Available at Saks for $485
big_bag_rampage.jpg Fashionable big bag - Rampage Muse frame tote is anything but classic: it's purple, higher than longer, sports tons of details and will look fabulous hanging from your arm. A bold statement of style. Available at Endless for $88
