Go Pink for October

Do you know what today is? It's the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we'll be raising awareness and promoting education all October long. Although the mortality rates for this disease have gone down, due to early detection and advanced treatment options, we still have a long way to go before no one has to suffer from breast cancer (or any type of cancer, for that matter).

Even if pink isn't your favorite color, won't you sport some this month, in honor of someone you know whose life has been touched by this disease?

A small pin is always fashionable and most people know exactly what it stands for, but there are so many other items you can own and use that also promote awareness and whose purchases contribute to finding a cure. The Pink Ribbon Shop is full of things like:
