Get shorts for style's sake
You must have noticed by now, things are getting shorter, from booties and cropped jackets this winter to the craze about out-of-the-ordinary pant cuts. While I know that you are not really Franticlinks about wearing anything shorter than capris, you will have to get at least a pair of shorts for style's sake sooner or later.

To make your decision about staying a true fashionista a bit easier, I've found just the shorts which could fit most people. Theory Locomotive Palmer Short is the kind of pant you put on when you feel a bit boyish, and would really like to wear those ballerinas that have been hiding in your closet.

Made of wool, these shorts are warm enough to be worn over tights in the transitional period, and the style is straight, which should mean good fit and less embarrassing 'Austrian boy' looks.

Available at Olive and Bette's for $200
