I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Year's celebration last night. While I was out in my black Banana Republic pants and a cute sequined Tunic top I saw a few outfits that should not have made it in the door. If it were up to me, there would be an ID checker and an outfit checker, sometimes women wear things they shouldn't. So in honor of the new year, I am going to come up with fashion don't and faux-pas to avoid for this next year. Make 2008 a year of a fashionable new you. That was kind of cheesy right? Perfect!

	I was sitting in a café over on 23rd and 5th (lovely area by the way) enjoying my coffee when this woman sat down at the table in front of me and I got a full view of butt crackage. #1 don't for the new year, jeans that are way, way too low. Generally a low-rise jean has a rise of 7", which is sometimes not enough fabric to cover the top of you bum-bum. Please keep your butt crackage to yourself.
	#2 don't of the year, just because it is cheap in price don't try to make it fit you. Even if it only cost a dollar what's the point if it looks bad on you. Invest in your clothes and get a few expensive things that look amazing rather than a lot of cheap things that don't look good. With that being said, I am all about the bargain hunting though!
	#3 don't of the new year, just because it is a trend doesn't mean you have to or should wear it. If a trend isn't right for your body type, don't try to pull it off because you will just look uncomfortable. Wear what looks good on your and what you feel comfortable in, trend or not.
