Fall / winter fashion trends: Ankle boots - the booties that won't fit you

I see ankle boots everywhere I go. Women of all shapes and sizes are wearing them, following the trend blindly and never even considering how on earth do they really look like.

Let me tell you something straight: ankle boots with skirts are perfectly wearable if you're a size 0, or have slim and long legs. I myself am not one of that 1% so I'll make an educated guess and presume you are neither. So, if you have to, wear ankle boots with cropped or skinny pants and hope for the best. Also, never, not in million years wear ankle boots without a high heel.
