Exfoliate your skin

Exfoliate your skin
I used to have a big problem when putting on makeup - concealer and foundation that is - when I was younger. You see, I always put on first a foundation, than some concealer on the 'problem' spots (such as under eyes, a blemish or two) and maybe some loose powder too to get rid of the shine. In the summer I usually put only concealer under my eyes, on my nose and some on my chin. But no matter what time of the year, my face would look great, that is if you didn't look at it from up close. Because my skin got flaky as soon as I put the aforementioned makeup on.

First I thought it was because my skin was dry, so I tried putting some cream on 15 minutes before makeup, but with no significant improvements. Than I tried 30 different concealers and foundations, but none seemed to work.

Than it hit me: the foundation and concealer only brought up my dead skin cells, making them more visible! As soon as I gave my old face a good scrub, all the flakiness was gone!

So, from than on, I exfoliate my face regularly two times a week. My skin looks more radiant and healthy and my makeup problems are all gone. The product I love is Kiehl's Pineapple/Papaya face scrub. Try it on and I'm sure you'll be pleased.

But, don't forget the rest of your body, which needs to get rid of the dad skin cells too! The Bliss High Thighs Slimmer scrub is becoming a great friend of mine, making my bum and my thighs look marvelous.

Also, do moisturize your skin after exfoliating it, for the ultimate pampering experience!
