Elle banishes wardrobe boredom

ELLE has always been my favorite glossy magazine, and the online edition is as good as the printed one, if not even better. In the Banish wardrobe boredom feature Elle experts show us how to mix and match to update the most classic pieces everyone has lying in their closets.

My favorite part of the feature is updating black pants - bohemian, party, professional and prepster style. Elle suggest the following outfit for the office:

"Take the black pant to the office in a new way by layering Reyes' adorable skinny striped polo under a super-soft, scoopneck sweater vest. You can even pile on another layer, a shrunken white jacket. The finishing touch is Miu Miu's metallic silver Maryjane, which keeps the outfit closed-toe conservative while adding a little punch at the same time."
