Coats for the not so harsh winters
Filed in archive Outerwear on November 13, 2007
So I got a special request from North Carolina for an a-line, lightweight, winter coat. Sometimes I forget that not everyone gets the harsh, cold winters like we have here in the northeast, so the request for a light-weight winter coat threw me off a little bit. Well, it proved to be a tough challenge but I think I found some great coats for ya'll.

The military look is in right now and the color is fantastic! VIA Wool A-line coat, $149 at Victoria's Secret |

A leather trench with a belt? Chic. Leather Top Stitch Shimmer Coat, $289 from Bebe |

A different variation on the a-line look is a great cape. Echo Reversible Cheetah Print Lined Cape, $125 at Nordstrom |
Ya'll come back now, ya hear? (Did I do the southern drawl right?)

LOL, yes, you got it right (chiming in from Florida!). I love coats, but rarely wear them. I've thought about moving up north just to get to wear REAL winter gear.
