Here's something easy and minimalist for Fall: a charcoal turtleneck dress in cashmere (it also comes in black). First of all, I imagine this would be absolutely delicious to wear. Second, it provides lots of variety in accessorizing.
You can go with silver, as in a long, dangling necklace and cuff bracelet. You can go with gold (same thing). Or you can jazz things up with a pop of color like red.
Tights and black pumps would work swell, as would knee-high boots, but I would definitely get more ambitious where shoes are concerned because this dress is so simple. I'm thinking pewter Mary Jane?
Or shiny red pump.
The main thing when dealing with such a minimal outfit is remembering that accessories play a big part in really bringing out some overall fabulousness. Otherwise, it can look pretty bland. And we don't want that.
