A Tacori Eternity Ring for 10th Wedding Anniversary?

© JRDunnIt'll be 10 years this year since my husband and I tied the knot and we're brainstorming for ways to celebrate it. Nah, it's not gonna be a grand one, perhaps just a special dinner without the kids will do. Some friends have celebrated their 10th anniversary with a renewal of vows, and some others hosted a party with some friends. Me? I'd rather that we spend it with each other, and just exchange gifts to mark our 10 years of being together.
According to traditional wedding anniversary gift guides, the 10th anniversary corresponds to gifts made of tin or aluminum.
Tin?!? Aluminum?!? Who wants to have tin and aluminum to mark an important milestone? Fortunately, some smart and practical people have been thinking and the modern equivalent in the US is, ahem... diamond jewelry! It's traditionally meant for 75th anniversaries, but heck, how many people live up to their 75th wedding anniversaries?!?!
So let me see... I'm drooling over this Tacori eternity ring (photo). Do you think it's too extravagant for a 10th year anniversary?
