A Laidback Top for Spring

I'm a sucker for pink. I really do love it. It's one of my best colors, but it also reminds me of purity, innocence, softness, beauty and all good things. When pale pink is in, I'm happy.

Unfortunately, fashion designers can't make pink clothes year after year. I love orange too, but the fact that it turns my skin a vaguely greenish color when worn is a strong deterrent. And orange has been in… for a long time. This has meant that one by one I've worn out my pink things and have had to give them up to the Salvation Army or the garbage can.

So I was happy to find a pretty linen "Laidback Top" on the Boden website. It's machine washable (always a must for linen, from my perspective) and it's purported to be fitted - not just a huge drape - by other purchasers who have reviewed the shirt.

It's time to stock up for spring, and this is a great way to start!
