4 clothing pieces + 2 accessories you can't do without

If we get down to pure essentials, there are only four things you need in your work wardrobe, and two accessories you can't do without. Those are: a skirt, pants, a jacket and a blouse, with a scarf and shoes.

But, you know me, everything has to be with a twist, so I am showing you my selection of top work apparel in unexpected colors and cuts. All of the items can be worn together, so mix and match all you like.

	Jacket - I always told you work clothes should be fun to wear, and this Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket surely would be. The dusty rose color of plush velvet, the sequin and beaded collar and pockets, the puff sleeves and of course the satin belt will transform you in the most adorable gal in the office. 	Skirt - Akris Punto wool skirt has all the bubble you will need to stay in with the fashion. The pleated wool hides a ruffled petticoat underneath, which provides extra fullness. Flirty and girly, you'll be star material. Available at Saks for $795
	Blouse - It's very difficult to find an ugly clothing piece on Anthropologie. So when I saw Prestigiditation blouse I instantly knew it would look perfect with the rest of the apparel I posted here. The blouse is made of navy cotton and has really interesting buttoning system. Available at Anthropologie for $218
	Scarf - Renato Balestra scarf is made of pure silk with the most wonderful flowers printed on it. Wear it as a tie, as a cleavage shrinker, as a hair band or wrap it around your neck. Available at Forzieri for $79,95
	Shoes - Can you be comfortable and stylish, look good in pants and skirts with same shoes? You most certainly can, if you get the Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes. Made of leather, these will keep your feet dry, while the dress pump style, with a low heel, will keep your calves from developing spider veins. Available at Shoes for $79,99
